At nTouch we meet with prospective clients to determine if it makes sense to partner with one another. We work exclusively with companies that have a strong vision, a seasoned team of executives, and great products. We believe in placing candidates only with good companies. Our rule is "would that be a company that we would want to work for?" We take tremendous pride in helping our clients build their teams because we get lots of satisfaction from that. We view the recruiting process as a matchmaking process. We gauge our success not by placing someone, but by how well he/she performs a year, 2 or 3 years from now. Many of the candidates we hired at Brocade Communications are still there and many have received promotions.

We get most of our candidates via referrals from hiring managers or candidates we have placed in the past, and strong networking. When we present our clients with a candidate, they can be assured that we probably know this candidate personally, and if we do not, we have thoroughly checked into their background. We believe that the best indicator of future performance is how someone has performed in the past and we work to discover as much about a candidate as possible before we present them for a position. We understand that it takes more than just employees with a certain skill set to build a great company and we work with our clients to make sure that the team members we add are the right ones.

Because of our relationship with our candidates, we make sure to understand how serious the company is about needing to bring people on board. If we make the commitment to assist a client with their hiring needs, we like them to be committed to reviewing candidates that are submitted in a timely manner and to be responsive. If someone has interviewed for the role, we need to know what the hiring manager liked or didn't like so we can refine the profile for the ideal candidate. Often times, it's not just the tangible requirements-the must have's - but the intangible things that play a huge role. Understanding more about the team and what types of individuals would best fit into the culture and values of the company is the key to making the right hire.

Kristy Louie

I've been recruiting since the late 1990's. I started my recruiting career working with an agency, Centennial Associates (subsidiary of Oxford Global Resources) and became one of their top performers by consistently exceeding the objectives and goals. I consulted with fast growing start-ups e.g. Replay TV and Intraspect Software to industry leaders e.g. Sun Microsystems, Network Associates and HP. I have worked in-house on a contract and full time basis at various companies including marchFIRST, Brocade & Intuit.

I have a thorough understanding of concepts in the software development lifecycle, quality assurance, system architecture and e-commerce applications. I am an entrepreneur at heart and always wanted to start my own recruiting business because of the freedom and the opportunity to work with a variety of clients and being able to choose who I want to partner with. I am professional in my approach to meeting with prospective clients, learning about their company, technology and hiring needs. Of course I share my experience to determine if it makes sense for me to assist them in building their teams. Being thorough and understand each position that I take on has been key to my success in recruiting qualified candidates.

All of my business has been through referrals. Many of the directors and VP's I've supported help me by providing referrals to new clients and candidates. I'm passionate about recruiting and technology.

June Haase

I came to recruiting with a background in law in the mid 1990's. I started recruiting through an agency, Adia (now called Adecco) and within 2 years had made the switch to recruiting technical candidates. I have over 5 years recruiting experience, across different disciplines. In addition to recruiting, I have done training and presentations to clients and management. I also have in-house recruiting experience from my work at Brocade, with Kristy.

I learn new technology quickly and I'm hardworking, smart, honest and I have a genuine desire to help people find their dream job. Nothing is more satisfying than finding the perfect fit, for both the client and the candidate.

What our clients have to say:

Raymond Lee,
Director of Global Supply Chain Brocade

Her current strengths include quick responses, dedication and commitment, great interaction with candidates, excellence in setting candidate’s expectations, candidate qualifications and screening, compensation negotiation and great working relationships with the IT managers.

She is a tremendous asset to the organization and has always had the best interest of the company at heart. With her dedication and careful selection, she speeds up the hiring process tremendously for IT. In my experience with past recruiters, Kristy’s performance while recruiting has been exemplary.

Horia Simionescu
Manager of Core Fabric Development Brocade

I am extremely pleased with the support Kristy provides to us. What was amazing to me, was not necessarily the number of resumes she provided, but the fact that very often she showed up to work with me even after 9 o’clock at night (which up to that point I considered to be an engineering only “privilege”). I don’t know to what extent she loves the work she does, but I would like to congratulate her for the way she does it.
